Curricular Internships

Any student duly enrolled on a eCampus University degree course at any level (Degree, Master's Degree, Post-Graduate Degree) may carry out a curricular internship.
The curricular internship has a maximum duration of up to 12 months.
If provided for by the didactic regulation, the activities carried out during the internship period can be awarded with a worth of CFU.

In order to get admitted to an internship period it is mandatory to pass the COURSE ON SAFETY IN THE WORKPLACE (as per D. Lgs 81/08). All the eCampus students may attend to the online course freely accessing to the following site: https://sicurezzaonline8108.it

First and foremost, the host entity and the University must stipulate an agreement, then a university tutor and a company tutor must be identified; the latter, together with the student, must enstablish the training project, which must first be approved by the university tutor, then duly signed and delivered to the University Internship Office.

The detailed procedure for the correct activation and execution of a curricular internship is the following:

  1. IDENTIFICATION OF THE HOST ENTITY - AGREEMENT

The establishment of an agreement between the University and the host company/entity is a necessary condition for the activation of an internship.

  1. company/entity affiliated with eCampus

The student can request a list of the already affiliated companies/entities closer to their area to the office in charge. Once the company of interest has been identified it falls to the student to contact it in order to ask for availability on the activation of the intership. If the answer is affirmative the student may proceed with the compiling of the training project (point 2).

  1. company/entity still not affiliated with eCampus

If the student independently identifies a new company/entity, which respects all the requirements provided for in the internship regulation of the S.C., they must fill in and get the legal representative to sign the "agreement" form (see the forms section at the bottom of the page)

The agreement, compiled and signed by the company must be emailed in PDF format to the internship office of the student's faculty (for example for the psychology faculty the email is tirocinio.psicologia@uniecampus.it), along with the training project (see point 2). The aforementioned documents must then be contersigned and sent to the University.

NOTE: ONLY FOR THE DEGREE COURSE IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND SPORTS and BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES: before signing it, the agreement with the company/entity must be approved by the Degree Course council who will evaluate, according to the previously requested documents (self-certification form for the eligibility of the entity) if the standards requested by the internship regulation of the Degree Course are implemented. In order to activate the internship, the physical sciences must be in possess of the sports medical certificate, which must be sent in PDF format to the internship office, along with the agreement and the training project. The original copy of the certificate must be sent to the Novedrate Student Secretariat.

  1. TRAINING PROJECT

The second, essential act for the activation of the internship is filling in the training project, where the implementation time and the purposes of the internship are indicated.

The student must ask for the Training Project to the internship office and fill it in with the company tutor. The form, signed by the student and the company tutor, must be emailed in PDF format to the internship office of the student's faculty (for example for the psychology faculty the email is: tirocinio.psicologia@uniecampus.it)

In filling in the training project please take into consideration that:

  • Internship period: the internship may start only when the the training project has been approved by the university tutor. The time needed for the acceptance and the delivery of the document countersigned by the internship office is approximately two weeks.

  • Nome tutor universitario: il nominativo del tutor universitario viene indicato dall’ufficio tirocinio di ciascuna facoltà

  1. DURING THE INTERNSHIP

During the internship period the company tutor must fill in the "attendance register", keeping track the student's worked hours.

  1. AT THE END OF THE INTERNSHIP

Once the internship period has been completed the "evaluation report" must be filled in and signed by the company tutor, while the student must:

  • Fill in and sign the "post-internship report"

  • Send all the paper documentation:

                * training project (duly signed)
                * post-internship report

                * attendance register
                  by registered mail to the internship office (eCampus University, via Isimbardi nr. 10 – 22060 – Novedrate (CO).

In the absence of the original documents the work carried out will not be recorded on the student's online exam transcript.
