For each artist, the user will find information on museums and art galleries where the works can be viewed, images from online archives, links to websites, articles and books.

Description Database available on the website of the Getty Research Institute which comprises two specialised art history databases: BHA (Bibliography of the History of Art) and RILA (Rèpertoire International de la Litterature de l'Art). The databases, which can be searched at the same time, cover the study of art history from antiquity to the contemporary age, offering bibliographic records and abstracts of international literature on painting, sculpture, architecture, photography and the various expressions of contemporary art.Essays, monographs, journal articles and exhibition and museum catalogues, published since 1975, are indexed.
