Trainers in health gyms: management and biological, psychological and social competencies - Advanced Education Course

 

The activation of the course is subject to a minimum number of 25 candidates.

The members of the Italian Association of Kinesiology will receive a 35% discount on the registration fees.

 

OBJECTIVES

The aim of the master/course "Kinesiologists for gyms and wellness" is to provide a technical and practical training focused on the knowledge required to coordinate, in the case of the master's course, and to work or collaborate, in the case of the training course, in health gyms.

Much space will be devoted to the acquisition of intervention strategies in order to guarantee hypokinetic subjects a dignified and sustainable quality of life.

The course will provide the candidates with the operational knowledge required in order to intervene appropriately and productively on individuals who are increasingly subject to stabilised chronic degenerative and non-communicable conditions and who are destined to increasingly longer life expectancies.

Furthermore, the course will provide the candidates with the tools required for an inter-disciplinary reflection on the administration of Physical Exercise using a shared language.

 

STRUCTURE AND DURATION

The master/course has an annual duration, for a total of 1500 hours. The lessons are implemented in blended with lessons in e-learning modality, available at any time and on any device (pc, tablet…); and 68 lessons provided in virtual classrooms (providing for a maximum of absences of 20% of the total lessons).

In order to attain the final certificate, the student must pass all the closed-answer tests provided for each module of the course and take a final exam consisting in the discussion of a final dissertation in front of a teaching commission appointed by the academic bodies.

1st level Academic Master

 

TARGET STUDENTS

The Master is aimed at students who attained a Master's Degree in "Sciences and Techniques of Preventive and Adapted Motor Activities" (LM-67). The course will provide the candidates with the knowledge required for the management of health. The students who attained a Bachelor's Degree in "Physical Education" (L-22), may apply for the recognition of course credits (CFU) for an eventual abbreviation of the programme for the attainment of the Master's Degree LM-67 at eCampus University, which will provide them with the qualification required to coordinate health gyms as indicated above.

 

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education (L-22), ISEF diploma or equivalent degree.

The admission of students who attained a degree in different areas will be subjected to the approval of the Scientific Board of the Master, along with the Curriculum Vitae.


 

Advanced Education Course

 

TARGET STUDENTS

The training course is aimed at those who aspire to work efficiently in health gyms.

Furthermore, the course provides for the recognition of course credits (CFU) for an eventual abbreviation of the programme for the attainment of the Master's Degree in Physical Education at eCampus University.

 

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Higher secondary school diploma or an equivalent title.
