OBJECTIVES

The objective of the Master is to provide theoretical and practical knowledge, based on scientific evidence to enable the student to identify and monitor the work load of the athlete, develop and implement physical preparation programmes for football players at different stages of the competitive season. Furthermore, the lessons will focus on the analysis of the epidemiology of injuries in football and reathletization in adults and young people.

TARGET STUDENTS

The aim of the Master is to train professionals specialized in physical preparation for élite and amateur teams and for centres specialized in reathletization.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

I.S.E.F. Diploma, Degree in Physical Education (class L/22), Degree in Physical Education (4 year Degree), Master's Degree in Sports Science (class LM/68), Master's Degree in Physical Education (LM/67), Master's Degree in Sports Management (Class LM/47), Physicians with Specialization in Sports Medicine, different degrees, attained abroad following an assessment of the Curriculum Vitae of the student. The participation to the Master is not compatible with the registration to other masters, degree courses, doctorates and specialization schools.

DURATION AND STRUCTURE

The Master has an annual duration and is comprised 12 didactic modules (structured as online lessons and frontal lessons) for a total of 1.500 hours (288 hours of lesson; 192 hours of educational activities; 1020 hours of individual studies); Attendance is mandatory for at least 90% of the course. For the purpose of furthering the training, the course includes educational trips, conferences and internships in the calculation of the hours required for other training activities. The educational activities of the course are carried out by a teaching staff comprised by professors of eCampus University and by professional trainers for the Scuola Allenatori del Settore Tecnico Federale F.I.G.C.

F.I.G.C. President Dr. Gabriele Gravina and the Legal Representative of the eCampus University Dr. Marco Margarita signed an agreement for the acquisition, by the students who will pass the Master's course, of the licence "Preparatore Atletico del Settore Giovanile" (Youth Sector Athletic Trainer) with the related registration to the F.I.G.C. Technical Sector. Furthermore, the Call for Admissions to the Course for the acquisition of the "Athletic Trainer" licence (official statement n.300, https://www.figc.it/media/191907/cu300_2223.pdf) the Technical Sector of F.I.G.C. attributes 8 points to the title "Youth Sector Athletic Trainer" attained in 1st Level Academic Masters with arguments related to the athletic or sporting activity.
