PURPOSE
The Master of Coordinating Management of Health Professions aims to train Professionals and to provide them of all necessary methodology and conceptual basis for an effective Health Sector Management, in a period of time where regulatory and institutional aspects in matter of Health Service are continuously evolving and make Health Management difficult to hospital workers.

PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
This Master Universitario has been designed for people that intend to study in depth organising, economics and managerial topics. In particular, it provides a know-how and all necessary tools to perform a professional activity of management, planning, coordination and control in the field of Health Service, both public and private, both institutional and territorial.

Master Universitario Participants

To attend this Master Universitario candidates must be awarded with a Bachelor Degree issued in accordance with D.M. 509/99 and D.M. 270/04, preferably obtained in:

- Nursing

- Obstetrics

- Rehabilitation Therapy

- Health Care Technician

- Healthcare and Safety

JOB POSITION
The Master of Coordinating Management of Health Professions provides professional training to be a Team Coordinator in hospital environment (position substituting that of charge nurse) and to enter the relative competitive state examination. Once the Master Universitario has been completed participants will be able to:

- Read environmental changes with a new theoretical and practical consciousness, developing suitable managerial strategies.

- Using management tools adequately (indicator and control chart).

- Identify key indicator of the sector.

- Integrate facility safety, patient safety to continuously improve quality in the community health service.

- Handle medical negligence adequately.

- Use clinical governance as a method to reduce clinical risk.

- Communicate effectively.

- Manage end-of-life care dynamics.

- Plan, launch and manage improvement service quality process.

- Use communication technique and active listening to direct collaborators action towards the targets of the hospital.

DURATION AND MASTER UNIVERSITARIO STRUCTURE
This master universitario has a duration of 16 months and is provided full on line: Online only, with discussion of your thesis at the Novedrate campus (CO).

Single subject exams take place at eCampus University in Novedrate, in Rome and in Messina.

INTERNSHIP
Participants will take part at 500 hours internship in private or public companies while attending this Master Universitario.
