b. Purposes of the processing of data (art. 6 par. 1 GDPR).

Personal data is collected and used for the following purposes.
b1. Management of registrations to the portal, enrollments and registrations for the purpose of providing information related to academic courses. For administrative purposes related to the provision of academic services, including examinations, grades and other related activities. To send institutional communications to students, including notices, updates and information related to the university's academic and administrative activities. For research purposes and to monitor and assess the participation of the students to said activities. To provide the access to library services for study and research purposes. To offer support services to the students, including academic assistance services and advice for activities related to curricular internships. To collect feedback from students in order to develop and improve the services offered by the university and to conduct market research. To fulfill legal or regulatory obligations, including those required by academic regulations. For the purpose of participating in lectures provided online implying the processing of multimedia footage (photo, audio and video) of the participant, even for research and scientific dissemination purposes.
b.2. For the communication of commercial information and for the purpose of sending advertising/information material related to goods and services considered similar to those of the subject of registration and/or enrolment, deemed to be of interest to the subject, by automated and conventional means, e-mail and related web applications, by virtue of express consent.


c. Categories of personal data. Your personal data and, where applicable, those of your family members or cohabitants, directly or indirectly related to your relationship with the Controller shall be subject to processing.
Identification data, contact details, academic data, financial data, data related to access and to the use of online services, data on participation in university events and activities, data related to research and development activities, photographs and audio or video recordings, feedback on university courses or services, health data.

d. d. Recipients of personal data. Within the framework of the aforementioned activities, your personal data will and shall be communicated to: the academic and administrative personnel, registration office and student administration office, financial department. Student Administration Office (consultancy, orientation and assistance), library services, professors and researchers, partner companies and employers (internships, stages or job opportunities), certification and qualification bodies (external exams or accreditation organizations), data management and archiving systems, government authorities and control bodies.

In relation to the above-mentioned purposes, your personal data will be processed in compliance with the fundamental principles of legality, correctness, transparency, purpose limitation, data minimisation, accuracy, storage limitation, integrity and confidentiality by paper, computer or telematic means. The Data Controller hereby informs you that the data provided is processed by the data controller, both manually, on paper and by computer, by means of their inclusion both in archives (containing paper documents) and in the databases in use. The data controller and the persons in charge of the processing has put in place suitable technical and organisational measures to guarantee a level of security appropriate to the risk, in compliance with the regulations in force.


f. Period of conservation of personal data. Within the framework of the aforementioned purposes, your personal data will be stored for the duration of the registration/enrolment and, thereafter, for as long as the Controller is subject to retention obligations for academic, tax, or other purposes provided for by law or regulation.
For marketing purposes, the data will be retained for the period related to the object for which consent has been validly given and in any case until revoked in the manner set out below.


g. Rights of the subject.
