OBJECTIVES
The objective of the Master is to provide theoretical and practical teaching, based on scientific evidence, so as to enable the students to identify and supervise the workload of an athlete and develop athletic training programs for elite footballers, at different phases of the competitive season. Furthermore, the lessons shall be focused on the epidemiological analysis of football injuries and on the recovery process in adults and young people. The master is sponsored by the "National Professionals B League".
PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
The aim of the Master is to train professionals specialized in physical training of élite and amateur football teams, for youth sectors and specialized centers for functional recovery.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Diploma in Physical Education (I.S.E.F.), Degree in Sport Sciences (class L/22), Degree in Sport Sciences (onld system), Master'S Degree in Advanced Sport Sciences (class LM/68), Master's Degree in Physical Education (class LM/67), Degree in Sport Management (Class LM/47), Sport Physicians, other degrees attained abroad (subject to the evaluation of the academic curriculum and the curriculum vitae of the candidate). The participation in the Master is incompatible with the registration to other Academic Masters, Degree Courses, Research Doctorates and Specialization Courses.
DURATION AND STRUCTURE
DURATION AND STRUCTURE The Academic Masters lasts one year, it is composed of 12 didactic modules (with online and frontal lessons) for a total of 1.500 hours (a total of 288 hours for the lectures; a total of 192 hours for other didactic activities; a total of 1020 hours of individual study); It is mandatory to attend to at least the 75% of the course. For a further cultural growth, the total hours related to the didactic activities shall include educational trips, conference and internships. The didactic activities of the course shall be supervised both by eCampus University professors and teachers belonging to the Training School of the Italian Football Federation (F.I.G.C.).
*Currently, the educational path of the Master is being judged by the Federal Technical Sector of the Italian Football Federation (F.I.G.C.) for the stipulation of an agreement, which will enable the students enrolled in the Master to attain, once the cycle of study is concluded, in addition to the academic titles (certificate of attendance, title of 1st level Master in "Theory and Methodology of Football Training" and 60 CFU), the licence of “Athletic Trainer in the Youth Sector” with relative subscription to the Technical Sector of the F.I.G.C.
The F.I.G.C. attributes the licence of "Physical Trainer of the Youth Sector" a score of 8.00 as regards the presentable titles for the participation to the Pysical Trainer Course (C.U. n° 103 of 17.12.2018) (C.U. n° 103 of 17.12.2018)

Frequency: 1 week end (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) from 9.00 to 18.00 (8 hours a day) per month.
