Graduated in Physical Education at the I.S.E.F. (Milan) with a final dissertation titled  “I test nel gioco del calcio”. He authored and co-authored books and articles published on specialized magazines; and co-authored softwares for the programmation and the supervision of football training. He was a member of the teaching staff at the Football Couching Course organized by the School of the Federal Technical Center in Coverciano.
He attained the F.I.G.C. qualification of Physical Trainer. He worked at various professional football teams, such as: Varese, Lecce, Lazio, Avellino, Torino, Verona, Salernitana, Fiorentina, Valencia Chelsea, Parma Sampdoria, Dinamo Moskva and Juventus.
Currently he is head of the Sports Science Department of the Juventus Football Club.
